Cultural Interpretation Of Chinese Gaudy Art

In the 1990 s,Chinese artists set off from the social appearance and cultural concept of China at that time,and led an artistic trend that can fully reflect the basic characteristics of Chinese culture in this period,namely the gaudy art.Chinese glamorous art breaks through the imitation and transplantation of Chinese contemporary art to Western modern art during the "Eighth Five-Year Plan" period,trying to seek the cultural status of equal exchange with Western culture,reflecting the artist’s concern for life and the life level.The reflection and rumination of social significance also marks the beginning of the creation of Chinese contemporary art from imitation to local culture.Its emergence is a useful discussion and attempt to the development of contemporary art,with important social and academic value.This thesis takes Chinese gaudy art as the research object and carries on the cultural interpretation.Firstly,it defines the Chinese genre art and analyzes its cultural background.Secondly,it conducts a cultural investigation on the main body of Chinese genre art,analyzes the cultural identity of its creative subject and its cultural concept.The vulgar art works are interpreted in the cultural and chemical works.Fourthly,the subject of the gaudy art is interpreted in a cultural and literary manner,and the audience of the gaudy art is briefly divided into the mass and rational elites in the consumption era.Fifth,the elaboration of Chinese gaudy art cultural value,and judge both positive and negative aspects of Chinese gaudy art.The article uses the research methods of cultural chemistry to examine the Chinese genre art in the vast cultural system it generates and develops.This new interpretation is conducive to people’s better understanding of Chinese genre art,and this also allows today’s artists to better understand art and engage in artistic activities and provide direct practical experience and theoretical support.It will further strengthen the reflective spirit and practical consciousness of art theorists in the study of contemporary art.
