Embedded Public Culture Research

With the progress of society,the public cultural services provided by the government are becoming more and more unable to meet the cultural needs of citizens,on the other hand,a large number of outstanding folk culture,folk customs scattered in the folk,which is an important way of life of the people,but the government has not treated it as a public culture to protect and develop.Based on this background,the author tries to discuss how to better solve the problem of insufficient supply and ineffective supply of public culture at the grassroots level from the perspective of folk culture,in order to provide a new way of thinking for the construction of public cultural system in China.Wuju Opera folk troupe,as one of the important carriers of inheriting local folk culture,shows the strong vitality of folk culture.Focusing on the Jinhua Youth Wuju Opera troupe,the author carried out in-depth fieldwork to refine the idea of the construction of embedded public culture.It not only corrects the misconception that the government has not viewed the folk culture from the perspective of public culture before,but also makes the folk culture have been better protected,developed and popularized,become a kind of public goods,is a powerful supplement to the government to provide public services,and to a certain extent satisfies the cultural needs of the broad masses of the people.Thus,folk culture has become substantial of public culture in modern society.The formation process of embedded public culture reveals that the essential attribute of folk culture is public goods.As a result,the local government has gradually excavated the instinct of Wuju Opera folk troupe culture as a public goods,so that the folk traditional culture has become a supplement to the government's public services,not only to promote the functions of the government,but also to enrich the folk culture.It provides a way to solve the dilemma of insufficient supply of government public culture and the development of folk culture inheritance.
