Qilin Bayin????is the earliest and most influential rhyme book in Min dialects. It reflects the overall appearance of Fuzhou dialect in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and has important phonetics, philology and lexicological value.Compared with Guangyun??,the voice system of Qilin Bayin retains many voice features of the Middle Ancient and even earlier,it also has a unique evolution track. In terms of initials,Fuzhou dialect during Ming and Qing Dynasties maintains the voice features of the antiquity——"no lip tooth sound","no tip of the tongue sound"and the voiced clearing, but which is different from the evolution of the common language in the relationship between the initials of the Zhi?,Jing?,Zhuang?and Zhang?groups, and the source of throat initials[h].In terms of vowels, the distribution of Yinsheng??,Yangsheng??and Rusheng??of Qilin Bayin continues the pattern of Guangyun, but the vowel system of Qilin Bayin is more simplified than Guangyun, which mainly appears in the combinations of the finals with the similar main vowel and the rhyme tail of Yangsheng, the rhyme tail evolution of Rusheng. In terms of tones,Qilin Bayin has seven tune categories, which are transformed from the four tones of Guangyun.Comparing the voice systems of Qilin Bayin and Zhongyuan Yinyun????,the differences are greater than the commonalities. In terms of initials, the initials of two books differ greatly in lip sound evolution, number of tooth sound and preservation of the initials[?].In terms of vowels, the correspondingness of Yinsheng is higher, the differences of Yangsheng and Rusheng is larger, which are closely related to the combination of the Yangsheng rhyme tail in Fuzhou dialect, and Rusheng in Zhongyuan Yinyun enters Yinsheng. In terms of tones, two books characterize by“dividing Yin and Yang”and“voiced sound Shang enters Qu”,but there are differences in the evolution of Rusheng in the Middle Ages:Qilin Bayin retains Rusheng distinguishes unvoiced and voiced sound,Zhongyuan Yinyun“divide Rusheng into three tones”.
