Research On The Image Of Tao Yuanming In The Poem With Paintings

TaoYuanming,as the theme of creation,permeates into various fields.Tao Yuanming has been paid much attention to in the field of painting for a long time.Tao Yuanming’s paintings are based on his own portraits,poems and legends.With the appearance of TaoYuanming’s painting works,the painters and poets chanted poems on the paintings,which formed the poems on TaoYuanming’s paintings.This paper studies the image of TaoYuanming from the perspective of painting poems.The study of Tao Yuanming’s image in the poem of painting must study the painting with Tao Yuanming as the theme in advance,so as to transition to the study of poem of painting.Therefore,this article writing ideas are as follows:First of all,it summarizes the painting research on the theme of Tao Yuanming.His painting has gone through the beginning period,the flourishing period,the shaping period,the pluralistic period and the comprehensive period.the works in each period show different characteristics.Secondly,it summarizes the creation of poems about Tao Yuanming’s image.According to the 130 poems on Tao Yuanming recorded in the poems on paintings of past dynasties,we can divide the poems on paintings of Tao Yuanming into themes on taohuayuan,themes on returning,themes on portrait and themes on legends of stories.Thirdly,it analyzes the image of Tao Yuanming in the poems of painting.Tao Yuanming’s poems on paintings show typical and symbolic image characteristics.After the formation of these typical features and symbolic features,it became an important symbol for people to identify Tao Yuanming’s identity.Tao Yuanming’s image in the poem is also the self-image of literati’s ideal.The poet tried to avoid the true Tao Yuanming when he chanted Tao Yuanming,and portrayed Tao Yuanming as an ideal and self-identity elegant scholar image.Finally,it discusses the artistic spirit of Tao Yuanming’s image.Mainly manifested as Taoist spirit,the spirit of the times and personality spirit.There is only one Tao Yuanming in the world,no Tao Yuanming after Tao Yuanming.The painter literati painted Tao Yuanming and chanted Tao Yuanming,which mixed with the subjective ideas of the literati,shaped Tao Yuanming as an image with self-emotional sustenance.Tao Yuanming’s image in the poem is the poet’s re-creation image based on the picture interpretation and self-emotion.At this time,Tao Yuanming appeared in the artistic image created by the poet,which reflected the different artistic spirit.
