Research On The Impact Of Volunteer Experience On The Professional Development Of Chinese Education Masters

Along with the global trend of "Chinese language craze",the volunteer project for Chinese teachers has been providing Chinese language teachers overseas for many years.It is also the main way for the overseas internships for Masters of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages(hereinafter referred to as"MTCSOL").This research takes the MTCSOL who has volunteer experience as the research object.By using the methods of literature research,investigation research and narrative research,it studies the influence of volunteer experience on the career development of the MTCSOL,analyses the nature and reasons of the influence,and puts forward targeted recommendations,The results of the study show that the influence of volunteer experience on the career development of the MTCSOL is widespread.This effect has both positive and negative effects,but the overall positive impact is greater than the negative one.The main reasons for the positive impact are as follows:Firstly,the volunteer experience itself has accumulated a period of overseas work experience for the MTCSOL;Secondly,the intercultural communication ability of the MTCSOL has been improved in the volunteer experience;Finally,the MTCSOL has been trained and grown in the experience of the volunteer project for Chinese teachers.The main reasons for the negative impact are as follows:The unreasonable sending and returning time of volunteers delays the Campus Recruitment of the MTCSOL after returning to China;Lack of systematic in-service training guidance during their tenure,which leads to the neglect of the problems of career development planning and mental health of the MTCSOL;After the return of the MTCSOL who have finished their volunteer project,they have encountered varying degrees Reverse Cultural Shocks,which is so disgusting to the domestic society.Through the analysis of the impact of volunteer experience on the MTCSOL and its causes,the study finally gives specific suggestions from three levels:the MTCSOL,volunteer projects,schools and families.For the MTCSOL,improving the core competitiveness of their career development is the key,and career planning should be done as soon as possible.At the same time,it is suggested that the MTCSOL learn some basic knowledge of mental health.For volunteer projects,it is the first thing to improve their own system and project quality.One specific point that needs to be emphasized is to improve on-the-job training during overseas teaching as soon as possible.In addition,more constructive measures are needed for the volunteer project to support the returned master's degree in further study and reemployment.For schools and families,schools should improve the educational system and curriculum of Chinese teaching specialty,and strengthen cooperation with overseas universities.Families need families to understand and support the career choices of the MTCSOL.The significance and innovation of this study lies in the perspective of people-oriented topic selection.The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of volunteer experience on the career development of the MTCSOL,enrich the theoretical achievements in the field of the MTCSOL career development,and provide reference for the further study on career planning of the MTCSOL with volunteer experience,and solve the career development of the MTCSOL with volunteer experience.The existing problems in the exhibition will play a positive role in the sustainable development of the volunteer project for Chinese teachers and the professional development of the MTCSOL.
