The socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is a socialism characterized by comprehensive reform, comprehensive construction,all-round development and overall civilization and progress. It is a socialism guided by the values of national rejuvenation, national prosperity and people's happiness. After decades of sustained reform, opening up and modernization, the principal contradiction in our society has been transformed from "the growing material and cultural needs of the people" to "the growing needs of the people for a better life".The main aspect of the contradiction has changed from "backward social production" to "unbalanced and insufficient development." This article holds that the change from "material cultural need" to "good living need" does not mean that the material and cultural needs of the people have been met.Cultural needs are still the basic needs of the people, especially in the vast rural areas.Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,and China's development is in an important historical transition period. To solve the problem of "unbalanced and insufficient" development,we need to focus on the "strength and weakness of the deficiency board".The 19 th report proposed the "Rural Revitalization Strategy" and promoted it as a national strategy. This article holds that rural revitalization can not be separated from rural cultural revitalization. From the perspective of the evolution of the overall civilization, the symbol of national revitalization is cultural revitalization and rural revitalization. In the final analysis,it refers to rural cultural revitalization. This paper puts the rural culture construction in the background of the implementation of the "rural revitalization strategy" and puts forward the basic judgment that "rural revitalization is the revitalization of rural culture based on the revitalization of rural industries".Based on this cognition,This paper reviews the course of rural culture development in China, summarizes the achievements of rural culture construction, faces the problems facing rural culture construction, analyzes the problems and their causes, and finally puts forward new ideas and choices on how to face challenges and promote rural culture revitalization. This article consists of four parts:The first part is the introduction. It mainly writes the background and significance of the topic selection, the current research situation at home and abroad, the main content of this article, the research ideas and research methods, the innovation of this article and the existing shortcomings. The second part, combing the cultural theory and rural cultural construction exploration process and historical achievements.Firstly, this paper summarizes the Marxist cultural theory;Secondly,it summarizes the richness and development of Marxist cultural theory by the Chinese Communists since the reform and opening up.Finally, the author combs the exploration process and achievements of the construction of rural culture in China. The third part summarizes the opportunities and challenges facing the construction of rural culture in China on the basis of the cognition obtained from the previous research.Firstly,it describes the opportunities facing our country's rural culture.Secondly,we find out the difficulties and challenges facing the construction of rural culture in China. The fourth part,on the basis of the previous analysis, puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of rural culture from the aspects of attaching importance to the construction of rural culture, guiding and satisfying farmers 'cultural needs, improving public cultural services, giving full play to the role of rural culture as a person, and strengthening the foundation of rural cultural development.
