Research On The Traffic Geography Of Qin-Wei Area In The Early Tang Dynasty

According to the administrative division,Qin and Wei zhou belonged to the eastern part of the Long-You road in the early Tang Dynasty.As the first stop for Guanzhong to enter the northwest,the Qin and Wei area is the gateway to the central and western regions.The Qin and Wei area occupied an important position in the rule of the Tang Dynasty.This article takes the Tang Dynasty as the time period before the Anshi Rebellion.Through the compilation and interpretation of historical documents,combined with archaeological data and cultural relics,the following connotations are obtained: First,the Qin and Wei regions have important political and military status in the early Tang Dynasty.The state attaches great importance to this area,and the state's official road passes through the region,which is the south line of the Long-You road.It is also the main road of the Silk Road during this period.Second,the Tang Dynasty set up a military organization in Qinzhou.It was called the General Administration Office in the early Tang Dynasty and was changed to the Dudu Government during the Zhenguan period.It was used to inspect the political and military situation in the Qin and Wei areas.According to the special geographical location,the organization of the military and political unity,such as the watershed and the martial arts.Third,in terms of economy,the Tang Dynasty also carried out economic deployment in accordance with local conditions in this area.The Qin Wei areas are the important military horse breeding bases in this period and one of the main production bases of the country's official livestock products.Fourth,through the attention of the state and the development of the region itself,in the early Tang Dynasty,the social and economic development of the Qin and Wei regions continued.The population of the Qinzhou area is also growing.The population of Qinzhou in Tianbao decreased by nearly 4,000.It should be caused by the earthquake of Kaiyuan 22 year,and it did not mean that the social economy of Qinzhou was stagnant due to war and other factors during the Tianbao years.The above is my understanding,please experts and scholars criticize and correct.
