For children, the early life experience mainly comes from the family,by imitating the parents' language and movements in daily life, and directly accepting the parents' control and instillation of their behavioral rules.Domestic research on the cognitive development of children's social rules focuses on the study of children's internal influence factors, while there are few studies on external influence factors(such as parenting style).Furthermore,in recent years, national policies have vigorously developed rural preschool education, and the development of rural children's social cognition has begun to receive attention. Therefore, this study selected 100 rural children aged 4-6 in a rural kindergarten in NanSha District of Guangzhou as the research object, and adopted the Children's Social Rules Cognitive Picture Scale and the Parental Parenting Evaluation Scale(EMBU)-Mother Edition as a research tool,to examine the development of social rule cognition of 4-6 years old rural children, the characteristics of rural mothers' parenting style, and the relationship between maternal parenting style and cognitive development of children's social rules. The results show that: 1.The cognitive development of social rules in 4-6years old rural children has significant age differences;4-6 years old rural children have the ability to distinguish between moral rules and custom rules;cognitive development of social rules for 4-6 years old rural children There is no gender difference, there is no difference between only children and non-only children.2.In the excessive interference / over-protection and punishment / severe two factors, the rural mother's parenting style is significantly different from the norm. The level of rural mothers' culture is closely related to the choice of parenting style. There is no significant difference in the parenting style of mothers of children of all ages. There is no significant difference in the parenting style of mothers of rural boys and girls. The parenting style of the only child mother and the non-only child mother has significant differences in the two factors of emotional warmth/understanding,denial/rejection.3.The denial/rejection mother's parenting style is significantly related to the cognitive development of social rules in 4-year-old rural children. The mother's denial of the way of parenting can be used as a predictor of social rule recognition of 4-year-old rural children. The emotional warmth/understanding mother parenting style is significantly related to the cognitive development of social rules in rural children aged 5-6 years. The parental warmth/understanding parenting style can be used as a predictor of cognitive development of social rules for rural children aged 5-6.Then,the characteristics of cognitive development of rural children aged4-6 years, the characteristics of rural mothers' parenting styles and the relationship between them were analyzed and discussed. The following suggestions were put forward: give full play to the role model demonstration of the mother;Infiltrate social rules in parent-child games;integrate social rules into family rules, negotiate with children to develop family rules;let children trythe natural consequences of violations.
