Nowadays,China and Russia have frequent exchanges and cooperation in the field of science and technology.In order to promote this kind of active exchanges and cooperation in China and Russia more extensively and efficiently,the translation of scientific and technical texts is imminent.This thesis is a translation of the interpreter translation materials from August to October 2018.The translator makes a translation practice report based on the problems encountered in the translation process and the corresponding solutions."Tall oil product production technology program and process flow manual" is a scientific language style.The paper lists the linguistic features of the scientific genre and analyzes it by way of example.The author analyzes the preparation work before translation in detail,the problems and difficulties encountered in translation practice,the corresponding solutions and translation methods,and the translation experience gained.In the process of this translation practice,the author used translation methods such as the word increase method,the subtraction word method,the reverse order method and the sentence split method.
