Zhao Gou's Book Study

Studying the history of calligraphy in the Southern Song Dynasty,Zhao Gou is a major character that cannot be avoided.He was the first emperor of the Southern Song Dynasty and an emperor's calligrapher who had been drunk with Han Mo all his life.He played a key role in guiding and condensing the development of calligraphy in the Southern Song Dynasty.Zhao Gou advocated the “retro” of calligraphy by himself.With the help of ancient laws and regulations,he changed the sluggish state of the calligraphy in the early Southern Song Dynasty.The emphasis on calligraphy directly affected the trend of calligraphy art in the Southern Song Dynasty.Both have made great achievements,which have a non-negligible impact on the development of calligraphy art in the Southern Song Dynasty and later Yuan Dynasty.This article tries to study Zhao Goushu's calligraphy as comprehensively and objectively as possible,including his academic history,calligraphic achievements,calligraphic thoughts and his influence in the development of calligraphy art.The first part is an introduction,which outlines the reasons for selecting the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the current status of the academic research on this topic and the research methods required to complete this topic.The second part discusses Zhao Gou's life and study history.It mainly introduces the stable family learning tradition in the interior of the Song room,creating unique conditions for him to study.The ultimate accomplishment in the art of calligraphy is the basis for the study of the formation of Zhao Goushu.The third part analyzes Zhao Gou's achievements in calligraphy.The first is the calligraphy theory work-"Han Mo Zhi".The full text of this work is more than three thousand words,involving his study book experience,aesthetic thoughts,and appraisal of previous book works.The unique personal opinion is also referred to as calligraphy criticism in later generations;the second is calligraphy practice achievements,including his calligraphy works and calligraphy activities advocated.In the art of calligraphy,Zhao Gou Linchi made outstanding contributions.In his later years,he became a family and had many works in his life.The calligraphy activities he advocated set off the climax of literati scholars studying calligraphy,which greatly promoted the development of the Southern Song Dynasty.The fourth part elaborates on Zhao Gou's calligraphic thoughts and influence.First,he takes the calligraphy and vintage ideas as the core to introduce the causes and connotation of vintage thoughts;in fact,by exploring the influences of the harem,princes,courtiers and others in the Southern Song Dynasty under his influence The art of calligraphy and the study of Zhao Mengfu 's retro style of calligraphy in the Yuan Dynasty,for example,further illustrate that Zhao 's achievements in calligraphy are far-reaching.
