| From the 1940s to the 1970s,artists set foot in Tibetan areas such as Tibet, qinghai and gansu to depict landscapes and people there. While in the 1960 s,xi-wen dong,Zhao Youping,wu guanzhong,Zhu Naizheng artists such as trying to Tibetan theme explore the problem of oil painting nationalization, made some exploration in artistic style, but when the Tibetan subject matter more for the masses can accept socialist realism art style, from aspects of the oil painting language, form, style, works of this period has some limitations.Starting from the oil painting language itself, this paper explores the artistic language, form and style of Tibetan oil painting in the 1980s.Since the reform and opening up,artists’ ideas have been further liberated, and more western modern art has entered the country.Artists have abandoned the Soviet art model and sought for a more diversified artistic direction. In the process of criticizing and reflecting on the fine arts of the cultural revolution, the "red light" and "false sky" of the past have also faded, and artists began to pay attention to human nature and the exploration of oil painting language. Therefore, the 1980s Tibetan oil paintings have diverse styles of expression and rich artistic languages, which undoubtedly laid the foundation for the diversity of the development of Tibetan oil paintings in the 1990s and later. This paper is divided into five chapters:the first chapter is the introduction, and the second chapter introduces the social background and the development of Tibetan oil paintings in the 1980s.The third and fourth chapters are the key chapters of this paper.According to different artistic languages and forms and styles of artists, these two chapters classify and study the Tibetan oil painting creations in the 1980s into two categories:realism and expressionism. In these two categories, through the different characteristics of artists, teachers, artistic styles and other aspects of the study, the representative of the painter case study.Regardless of the exploration of realism or expressionism, under the condition of criticizing and reflecting on socialist realism,it is meaningful for artists to actively solve the problems existing in Chinese oil painting. In the exploration of realism,Chen danqing,ai xuan and pan shixun used different artistic techniques to depict Tibetan compatriots, which broadened the expression of realism.Zhang xiaogang and zhou chunya absorbed impressionism and surrealism, which undoubtedly enriched the expression of Tibetan oil paintings. The last chapter starts from the relationship between art and reality and the influence of modern thoughts on painting,so as to analyze and reflect on the current situation of contemporary Tibetan oil painting creation. In this chapter, the importance of sketching in the age of consumption is emphasized, that is,sketching can inject vitality into the development of contemporary Tibetan oil painting. At the same time,it also talks about the problems caused by the influence of market economy, mechanical image and consumer culture on contemporary Tibetan oil paintings. The Tibetan oil paintings of the 1980s not only provide the subjects for painting, but also reflect the artists’ pursuit of art, society and life. The study of it is not only helpful for us to appreciate the grandeur of the qinghai-tibet plateau and the tenacious and honest spiritual outlook of the Tibetan people from different artistic perspectives, but also helpful for us to analyze and reflect on the problems of contemporary Tibetan oil painting creation in the age of consumption.Under the consumption era,art presents the commercialization, marketization, the lack of the spirit and the indifference of human nature is the main reason,so we should once again explore the history of the Tibetan oil painting in the 1980 s,exploring retrieves the lack of human nature and spirituality, contemporary art in the criticism and reflection,to rebuild the value system of contemporary Tibetan oil painting creation and aesthetic system.Like artists in the 1980s,we should actively explore appropriate artistic styles, express our Tibetan compatriots with sincere emotions, explore more artistic expression techniques, and create more tibetan-themed oil paintings with contemporary artistic characteristics. |
