Research On The Theme Painting Of Fairy Mountain In Ming Dynasty

The origin of Fairy Mountains paintings have a close relation with Xian Dao culture in ancient China which emphasizes living in harmony with the Dao.This type of painting has great influence on the later times,many surviving paintings we could see now contains the theme of Fairy Mountains and it played a significant role in general landscape paintings.However,many scholars have neglected its importance and this theme did not attract enough attentions.Thus,this article choose to investigate the prevalence of Fairy Mountains paintings during Ming dynasty with Qiu Ying's(??)Pavilions in Fairy Mountains(????)as a main research object,south China's economical and cultural prosperity as a historical background,combined with the public's enthusiasm towards immortality.Also,I will discuss about“Pavilions in Fairy Mountains”from the perspective of technique and its impact on my own creation.
