A Multidimensional Study Of Russian Military Idioms

The Russian military idiom is a special group born under unique historical and cultural conditions.Deeply rooted in the fertile soil of Russian national culture,it naturally and truly reflects the history of Russian military culture,is the summary of military practice experience,embodies the basic characteristics of Russian military culture,and contains unique military culture information.The generation of the military idioms is the result of the customization of language use.It's the inheritance of language regulation,language tradition and language formulary from the predecessor.At present,the study of idioms in Russian military field has not been carried out in China,and there are only a handful of research results abroad.It is undoubtedly a new perspective to study the Russian language picture of the world through military idioms.Therefore,this paper will enrich the study of this area.Based on the traditional linguistics,cognitive linguistics,language cultural theory,reference to previous research results,using synthetic method,inductive method,observation method,comparison research method,this paper makes a comprehensive study on idiom units in the military field from multiple perspectives: based on ontology to use Russian military definition,classification,to summarize its general characteristics;based on the cognitive-linguistic culture paradigm,the cultural interpretation of military idioms is carried out to analyze the linguistic world picture related to “human” and various images and internal forms of Russian military idioms.Among them,some images embody the generality of human language,the similarity of human cognitive ability and tendency;other images with distinct national characteristics reflect the national character of language itself,which is not only the content of our language learning,but also one of the key objects of linguistic culturology.Finally,this paper summarizes and analyzes the emotional evaluation function,image expression function,cognitive function,educational function and communicative function of military idioms,which reflect the value semantic orientation,social ethics,national psychological characteristics and human-centered linguistic philosophy of Russian people.This paper has certain theoretical value and practical significance.By studying and interpreting military idioms from various aspects and angles,this paper reveals the unique cultural meanings of military idioms in the picture of the Russian language world,which is helpful to understand the origin,path,composition and development rules of the modern Russian idiom system,and to understand the relationship among Russian national language,cognition and culture.In practice,this study will help eliminate barriers in cross-cultural communication and promote cross-cultural communication to some extent.
