Chinese interrogative sentences are widely used in daily life and have played an important role in TCFL.There are many kinds of interrogative sentences in Chinese,and most of them show the meaning of question by changing their modal particles,intonation,question marks or specific structures but rarely change their word order.However,word order and structures are changed a lot in English interrogative sentences and there is no modal particle in English,the type of English interrogative sentences are different from Chinese too.The research of teaching Chinese interrogative sentence to students of different native languages has always been a research emphasis.Therefore,this paper focuses on the acquisition of Chinese interrogative sentences of native English speakers and its teaching strategies.The research methods of this paper are questionnaire,literature research and data analysis.Native English speaker students of a Chinese-teaching school have done the questionnaires,the Chinese interrogative sentences they have used in class have been investigated and collected.The errors of their Chinese interrogative sentences and the reason of the errors have been analyzed.Finally,the advances of teaching consciousness and strategies have been raised according to the New HSK outline and the content of Chinese textbook which are aiming to provide Chinese teachers with specific teaching strategies in class and help English speakers avoid errors when using Chinese interrogative sentences.The research objects are native English speakers of different Chinese level.Six kinds of Chinese interrogative sentences are analyzed in the paper,they are yes-no question,specific interrogation,choice question,positive and negative question,additional questions and rhetorical question.The first part introduces the purpose and significance of this study,the background of the topic,the proposal of the problem,and the research methods used in the study.The first chapter is literature review,combining with the ontology research of Chinese interrogative sentences and the acquisition research of interrogative sentences based on TCFL,summarizes the classification methods of Chinese interrogative sentences in domestic academic circles,and defines the application methods of the six interrogative sentences studied in this paper.The second chapter is the comparison between Chinese and English interrogative sentences,analyzing the similarities and differences between the two languages.The third chapter summarizes the types and causes of errors in learning Chinese interrogatives by native English learners.The fourth chapter puts forward scientific and effective teaching strategies and suggestions for native English students at different stages according to the types of errors and the characteristics of different questions.The last part is the summary and deficiency of this paper.
