The Chinese-Russian Translation Practice Report Of "Three-phase AC Asynchronous Motor Operation And Maintenance Manual"

In recent years,China-Russia trade cooperation has achieved great achievement,the demand of Russia for Chinese mechanical equipment has increased year by year.At the same time,Chinese mechanical equipment manufactures have explored the market in Russian actively,the cooperation between two nations in mechanical manufacture industry has in depth.At present,electric machine products account for a large proportion of China's mechanical products that export to Russia,the demand for translator on electric machinery field is also increased.Manual of ?Opreation and maintenance of three-phase asynchronous motor? is a scientific and technological document in the electromechanical field,which belongs to the scientific and technological language style.The first five chapters and appendices are selected for translation,including overview,structural features and working principles,product system description,size and weight,installation and commissioning,appendix 1,appendix 2 and appendix 3.Based on the Chinese-Russian translation practice of operation instruction and maintenance instruction and guided by the language features of the source text,this paper analyzes some translation skills used in the translation process with examples,such as conversion of the part of speech,inversion,omission,division and synthesization,and summarizes the translation experience of the product instruction.This paper is a translation practice report based on the author's translation practice experience.It is also the author's experience of the translation process.It is hoped that this paper will bring some help to the author's translation practice in the future and the translators in the field of electrical machinery.
