Research On Chinese Teaching For Hotel Majors In Thailand Vocational And Technical School

In Vocational and Technical College of Thailand,the field of hotel management is crucial.As the number of Chinese tourists to Thailand increases year by year,it is increasingly important for Thai hotel service staff to master communication skills in Chinese.At present,the Chinese teaching in Vocational and Technical College of Thailand is in its initial stage,and there is still much room for improvement,especially in hotel specialty.This paper analyzes the problems and puts forward some suggestions by investigating Chinese language teaching in hotel professions in Vocational and Technical College of Thailand.The paper is divided into four parts:exordium,investigation on the basic situation of hotel major and Chinese language teaching in Thailand Vocational and Technical College,analysis on the problems existing in Chinese language teaching in the college,and opinions and suggestions on its Chinese language teaching.There are three parts in the introduction: study background and significance,research summary,correlative research work.The first chapter consists of two sections: the questionnaire and the result statistics of the questionnaire.The questionnaire section is a briefly introduction on the basic situation of the questionnaire,the subjects of the survey,the survey methods and the content of the survey.The result statistics of the questionnaire section has integrated the survey results from three perspectives: college basic situation,Chinese language teaching situation,attitude of teachers and students,and student learning methods.The second chapter is to analyze the problems existing in Chinese language teaching in hotel professions of Vocational and Technical College of Thailand.After the research,it was found that the Chinese language teaching in hotel professions of Vocational and Technical College of Thailand existed problems in three aspects in terms of teaching management including: the curriculum needed to be improved,the teaching facilities could not meet the teaching needs,and the lack of professional quality in the teaching team;There were problems in four aspects in terms of teaching including: lack of pertinence in the teaching contents,singular teaching method,unreasonable test methods and contents,and the practical guidance not in place;There were problems in two aspects in terms of student learning including: learning attitudes to be improved and learning methods to be ameliorated.In the third chapter,the author gave suggestions on the Chinese language teaching in hotel professions of Vocational and Technical College of Thailand.The author believes that in terms of teaching management,the curriculum setting needs to be optimized,the teaching environment needs to be ensured,and the quality of teachers needs to be improved;In terms of the teaching teaching,the teaching content needs to emphasize the professionalism,theteaching methods need to be used appropriately,the testing methods and content need to be completed,and the practical guidance needs to be attached importance;In terms of student learning,the learning attitude needs to be completed and the learning method need to be improved.
