A Report On The Translation Practice Of Vitokareva's Short Story "The Unromantic Man"

Female literature is an indispensable part of the 20 th century Russian literary world.Viktoria Tokareva is one of the representatives of Russian women's literature.Tokareva's work has shaped all kinds of female images.Her work focuses on women's living conditions and emotional world,and provides readers with life-like pictures of the Russian women's lives,allowing us to truly experience their spiritual life.At the same time,Tokareva is also an excellent screenwriter,and she has created several classic films with some excellent directors.This article is a Russian-Chinese translation practice report.The project is selected from the short story Unromantic Man by Russian writer V.Tokareva.The plot has twists and turns and a beautiful ending,which is full of romantic and interesting factors.The language of the work is plain,humorous and expressive,and there is no Chinese version yet.The short story has been adapted into a movie — The dog walking on the piano.The author starts from two aspects of words and sentences,and uses translation methods such as transposition,generalization,amplification,omission and Reverse of translation to complete the translation of the text.Using these translation methods,the difficulties encountered in translation are solved.The author hopes to accumulate translation experience and improve translation level through this translation practice.At the same time,we also hope to contribute a meager contribution to the research of Tokareva's works.
