Zhang Shu,with the word Baiyi(a character of Bo Yi,Shougu,Shilin),alias Jiujiou(also known as Jiumin,Jibai),is from Wuwei County(now Liangzhou District,Wuwei City,Gansu Province).Zhang Shu devoted his life to compiling and writing.He wrote many books,and was called the learned Confucianist in the Qianjia period of the Qing Dynasty.His academic research fields are extensive,involving historiography(surnames,local history),epigraphy,literature,classics,linguistics,etc.Especially known for his achievements in history.Since the seventeenth year of Jiaqing(1812),Zhang Shu has served as Zhixian County in five counties including Pingshan County,Xingwen County,Dazu County,Tongliang County,and Nanxi County in Sichuan Province for seven years.During Shu,he focused on the research of local historical materials in Sichuan,collected and compiled a large amount of local documents in Sichuan,and published a book named Shu Dian by himself on the 15 th day of the 18 th year of the Qing Dynasty in Jiaqing.There are twelve volumes of Shu Dian."Shu Dian",as a private Sichuan local history,comprehensively and profoundly records the origin,evolution and development of Bashu culture,has distinct local characteristics,and is a precious ancient Bashu local document."Shu Dian · Surnames" compiled a large-scale clarification of the strange and remote surnames in the ancient Bashu area,and provided important documents for future generations to explore the disappearance of ethnic conflicts,the evolution of surnames,and the interpretation of characters in the ancient Bashu area.However,since the publication of this journal,it has not been organized by major libraries in Sichuan and Gansu provinces for a long time,and the research results are few.This article uses "Shudian ? Surnames" as the research object to sort out and research the "Shudian" surnames in order to clarify the origin,development,evolution and distribution of the ancient Bashu surnames,and explain the root-seeking consciousness,cognitive value,and civilization of surnames.Inheritance,providing research materials for other researchers to further explore the ancient Bashu surnames.This article is divided into three parts.The first part is an introduction.It mainly points out the basis and significance of the topic selection,the research status of the topic,the content and method of the research,the innovations and possible problems in the research.The second part is the literature research on surnames in Shu Dian.First of all,the bibliography cited in the entire "Shudian" surname category is classified into four parts: Jing,Shi,Zi,and Ji,and subcategories are subdivided into each category.At the same time,the representative contents of each of the cited books are listed,and occasional errors are added to discuss the similarities and differences between the original book and the detailed analysis.Secondly,based on the contents of the surnames in the Shu Code,the author summarizes the origin of the ancient "surname",the occurrence of the "surname",and the change of surname in the Bashu area,and further deepens the understanding of the origin of the surname in Cuba.Then,it analyzes the interpretation of surname culture in the "Shudian" surname documents,and points out that the value function of surname culture is rooted in ancestors,historical confirmation,and civilization inheritance.Finally,the conclusion part.Summarize the content of the literature research on surnames in Shu Dian.The third part is the collation of surnames in Shu Dian.Using the methodology of philology,to punctuate the original text of "Shu Dian · Surnames",to collate the errors,and to moderately comment on the difficult places,so that scholars can read and research.
