China's new woodcut printmaking is one of the representative of Chinese modern art of change,its scope covering China's Anti-Japanese War and the liberation war,diffuse area,sichuan region is an important part of,because of its unique geographical advantages,is formed in the history of the Chinese nation--the Tibetan and yi corridor,migration and communication channel to bring local diversity of national culture feature.Here grow out of a large number of excellent print such as Li Shaoyan,Li Huanmin,cow man,Xu Kuang,AGe etc,they produced a large number of influential minorities topics such as "master",prints the early step of gold "dove" and so on,and will push the print development climax,make prints in the 1950 s and 80 s sichuan minority subject in the national print session of its own.However,with the impact of the new ideological trend of modern and contemporary art and the renewal of the language of The Times,new requirements have been put forward for the development of traditional engraving in sichuan.How to seek a breakthrough in artistic language,how to adapt to the needs of the development of The Times,this is the revitalization of sichuan prints today facing the problem,is also the problem of this paper.This paper is divided into five parts to explore the contemporary sichuan minority theme print creation.The first part is the introduction;The second part is the general situation of the development and the environment of the contemporary minority themed prints in sichuan.The third part is the interpretation of the local style of sichuan minority theme prints;The fourth part is the influence factors of the evolution of minority theme prints in sichuan.The fifth part is the inheritance and innovation of sichuan minority theme prints.
