| As the saying goes,"A day of drug abuse leads to a lifetime of abstinence".The problem of relapse has not only afflicts drug addicts, but also becomes a major difficulty in work of drug rehabilitation. To help addicts get rid of addiction, reducing negative emotions or increasing positive emotions seems to be a good idea. Therefore, four studies were conducted in this paper to explore the relationship between negative emotions, positive emotions and relapse tendency, and to investigate the effects of forgiveness intervention and emotional regulation intervention to increase positive emotions and to reduce negative emotions and relapse tendency.Study 1 investigated the motivation of 391 female addicts in JR rehabilitation and examined the relationship between positive emotions, negative emotions, forgiveness, depression and relapse tendency. The results showed that positive emotion was negatively correlated with relapse tendency(r=-0.12,p<0.05),depression was positively correlated with relapse tendency(r=0.15,p<0.01),forgiveness was positively correlated with relapse tendency(r=-0.14,p<0.01).On the basis of study 1,Study 2 investigated the effect of forgiveness intervention on relapse tendency.Adopted randomized controlled trials design,36eligible addicts were randomly assigned to forgiveness intervention group and waiting-control group. The first group participant in forgiveness intervention for 8weeks.The results showed that:Compared with the falling score of forgiveness of others in waiting-control group, the score in intervention group was remain high level(F(4,132)=2.436,p=0.050,η_p~2=0.079).study 3 investigated the effect of emotional regulation intervention on relapse tendency.Adopted randomized controlled trials design as same as study 2,The results showed that:Compared with waiting-control group, the depression in intervention group was reduced(F(3,96)=2.871,p=0.053),and positive emotions in intervention group was increased(F(4,128)=3.547,p<0.01,η_p~2=0.100).Relapse tendency of intervention group was also reduced after intervention(F(4,128)=6.353,p<0.001,η_p~2=0.166).Study 4 compared the intervention effects of the two themes with controlling of social desirability.Adopted randomized controlled trials design,18 participants were randomly divided into forgiveness intervention group and received 12 weeks intervention,18 participants(1 fall off)were randomly divided into emotional regulation group and received 12 weeks intervention. The control group of 18participants underwent post-intervention after the study. The subjective social support, positive and negative emotions, depression, forgiveness, relapse tendency and resilience of the three groups were measured every 6 weeks, and the follow-up measures were conducted 3 months after the completion of the intervention. The results showed that:Compared with control group, positive emotion of forgiveness intervention group and emotional regulation group increased(F(8,196)=2.297,p<0.05,η_p~2=0.086).Compared with emotional regulation group, subjective social support of forgiveness group increased(F(8,196)=2.100,p<0.05,η_p~2=0.079),and relapse tendency reduced(F(8,196)=1.903,p=0.062).The study also compared the effect of two intervention methods on relapse tendency under different intervention time.Multivariate analysis of variance found that 12 weeks of forgiveness intervention and 8 weeks of emotion regulation intervention had better effect after the intervention(F(1,63)=4.248,p<0.05,η_p~2=0.063).The conclusions of the whole study are as follows:(1)There are significant negative correlation between positive emotion and relapse tendency, and between forgiveness and relapse tendency in female drug addicts, while depression and relapse tendency are also significantly positive correlated.(2)Emotional regulation intervention can improve the resilience and positive emotions of female drug addicts and reduce the feeling of depression.(3)Forgiveness intervention can improve the level of forgiveness, positive emotion and subjective social support of female addicts, and reduce their relapse tendency.(4)The intervention effect of forgiveness intervention on relapse tendency was better than that of emotional regulation intervention, and it was still effectively 3 months after the end of the intervention. |
