Research On The Historical Evolution And Protection And Inheritance Of Filigree Inlay Craftsmanship

Filigree inlaying craftsmanship is a traditional gold and silver manufacturing technique in China,with a long history.It originated in the Shang and Zhou Dynasties,and broke away from bronze casting in the Han Dynasty,forming an independent process system.In the three generations of the Tang,Song and Yuan Dynasties,the country was unified and the economy was prosperous.As the ruling class' s centralization of power continued to strengthen,the filigree inlaying craftsmanship also continued to mature,becoming a complete "palace art." At the turn of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the filigree inlaying craftsmanship finally reached the peak of history,being the first of the eight craft categories in Yanjing,and it can be called the consummate skill of our traditional gold and silver production process in China.In 2008,the filigree inlaying craftsmanship was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List.However,it faced many problems in protection and in heritance.This paper puts forward some opinions through document analysis and field investigation on the history of filigree inlaying technology,current management status,and museum protection status.First of all,we must adhere to the principle of "productive protection".By enhancing the market vitality of filigree inlaying craftsmanship,we will generate certain economic value and then use it reasonably in the protection of skills.Secondly,the importance of inheritors in the protection of intangible cultural heritage is selfevident.We must attach importance not only to the leading role played by inheritors,but also to the cultivation of a new generation of outstanding talents.In the face of market demand,the traditional design style is outdated.Drawing on the historical and cultural connotation,combined with the aesthetic art of modern jewelry,new works that are more in line with the aesthetics of the times can be designed.At the same time,while adhering to the core skills,the development of industrialization allows us to use modern machinery and equipment to improve production efficiency.Last but not least,the protection of intangible cultural heritage requires the joint efforts of society.It is necessary to strengthen the society 's recognition of traditional skills,and at the same time promote the protection of museums,integrate into the context of new media,and make the ancient production of filigree mosaics.Filigree inlaying craftsmanship will shine brighter in the new era.
