The "East Turkistan" Issue And Countermeasures Under The Vision Of A Common Security Concept

The issue of "East Turkistan" originated in the 20th and 30th centuries of last century.Since its ascendance on the historical stage,it has successively staged two farces to establish a country.As far as its growth and upsurge are concerned,the "East Turkistan" issue is the result of the combined effect of domestic factors,international factors,historical factors,and cultural factors.The "double pan-inspired" trend of thought provided the ideological foundation for the "East Turkistan" forces and gave rise to political variants--"East Turkistan Stantanism." The history of multi-ethnic polymerization and the accumulation of poverty in modern China have objectively exacerbated the rise of the "East Turkistan" forces.In addition,the third wave of national separatism injected new impetus to the“East Turkistan" forces,religious extremism provided excitement for the "East Turkistan”forces,and terrorism provided new means for the ’ East Turkistan" forces.In terms of its essence,the issue of "East Turkistan" is under the banner of "East Turkistan" and it concocts the "East Turkistan"separatist theory in an attempt to split China’s Xinjiang by various means and establish the so-called "East Turkistan Republic" separatism.This article takes the concept of common security as the theoretical basis,starts with the origin of the "East Turkistan" issue,and tries to analyze the threat of the "East Turkistan" issue to China’s national security and its countermeasures.Under the perspective of the common security concept,the "East Turkistan" forces pose a threat to China’s national security in three dimensions:political,economic,and cultural.Politically,it threatens national sovereignty and social stability,tramples on the human rights of the people of all nationalities and destroys the fate of the Chinese nation.Economically,it causes economic losses,undermines economic development,and hinders the "Silk Road Economic Belt" in Xinjiang and neighboring countries.In-depth;culturally,it has eroded the concept of maintaining the unity and unity of the Chinese nation and hindered the normal development of religion.At the same time,the "East Turkistan" forces have not only undermined China’s national security,but also challenged regional security.The strategy of analyzing and solving the "East Turkistan" problem under the common security concept should be based on the domestic and international aspects.It should not only pay attention to the "hard" strength but also the "soft" strength,and comprehensively use cultural,political,military,economic,diplomatic,and other multiples,means.At the domestic level,the "One Belt and One Road" east wind will unswervingly develop the Xinjiang economy,eradicate the soil of violence and terrorism,improve the legal mechanisms,and implement anti-terrorism systems;strengthen anti-terrorism propaganda and occupy the ideological highlands.At the international level,relying on the "Shanghe".organization to expand multilateral anti-terrorism cooperation,continue to participate in the anti-terrorism under the UN framework,and use public diplomacy to expose the true face of the "East Turkistan"and seek maximum support.
