Research On Community Conflict And Governance Based On Grounded Theory

China is undergoing a period of social transformation.The rapid development of urbanization has brought about an increase in social mobility and heterogeneity.Interest differentiation has complicated the diversity of interest subjects and the complexity of interest relationships.Social pain brought about by changes has caused conflicts and conflicts among multiple subjects..As the basic unit of social management,the community has become a confluence of contradictions and conflicts.This article first adopts the grounded theory research method,takes the five communities in Ningxia Road,Qingdao as the research object,explores the causes of community conflicts,the interactive process of the parties involved in the conflict,and the post-conflict impacts.The code gets 68 concepts and In 28 categories,the three core categories of “conflict factor”,“subject conflict action”,and “conflict result” emerged,and the framework and model for the interpretation of community conflict were constructed.Then,this article embeds secondlevel cases for research,and conducts case analysis and quantitative analysis of Zhentai Garden Autonomous Community with prominent community conflict issues.On the one hand,it confirms the core findings of the qualitative research part,and on the other hand,it summarizes the governance experience of community conflicts.The study finds that the current community conflicts in China are characterized by the diversification of conflict types,the centralization of conflicts,and the large proportion of interest conflicts.The lack of community public resources,the incomplete management system,and the high heterogeneity of residents caused by social changes are the three major causes of community conflicts.The outbreak of community conflicts will injure residents' personal and property rights,disrupt community social relations,harm public interests,and disrupt community public interests.The escalating community conflicts and conflicts not only affect the lives of community residents,but also affect the effective implementation of grassroots governance and even national governance.It is imminent to explore the governance path of community conflicts.To resolve community conflicts,we must construct a multi-governance situation of government support,social collaboration,and resident participation on a macro scale,actively introduce market and social forces to provide community public products and public services,and encourage residents and community elites to participate in the community's public affairs management.At the micro level,measures should be taken to improve the community management system,establish conflict governance mechanisms,and establish conflict resolution platforms.
