Research On Collaborative Governance Of Food Safety In Jilin Province

With the gradual improvement of the public's requirements for food quality,food safety issues have received more attention from the government,industry associations,media,etc.In recent years,the coordinated management of food safety in Jilin Province has achieved certain results,but there are still problems of low government regulation,lack of self-monitoring by food operators,limited participation by the third sector,low recognition,and single public supervision.Starting from the main body of food safety governance,this paper encourages all parties to work together to build a cooperative governance mechanism.Establish the concept of government service and consensus,grasp the overall direction of food safety co-governance at the macro level,and fully mobilize enterprises and all sectors of society to participate in food safety supervision and management work.Food production and management enterprises should change the traditional management concept with the sole objective of gaining profits,take the initiative to assume social responsibility,emphasize food quality and safety management,attach importance to brand effect,and promote the long-term development of enterprises.The third sector should closely focus on organizational objectives,make full use of its own technological and information advantages,and effectively supplement the inadequacy of government supervision.Actively mobilize the enthusiasm of the broad masses of the people to participate,smooth the channels of participation,and accelerate the formation of a "government overall planning,Department supervision,enterprise self-discipline,social coordination,public participation" pattern of food safety and social co-governance.The author hopes that this study can provide some references for the practice of food safety collaborative governance in the new era,and provide guidance for solving the plight of food safety governance in Jilin Province.
