An Analysis Of The U.S. Policy On Iran's Nuclear Issue (2009-2019)

The Iranian nuclear issue as one of the hot international issues is related to the future of the nuclear non-proliferation system,the development trend of the Middle East politics and the overall situation of world politics in the future,which has a very important impact on the current international relations.It is very necessary to study the policies of the U.S.government on the Iranian nuclear issue in recent years,which is conducive to understand the current situation of the Iranian nuclear issue,grasp the development trend of the Iranian nuclear issue in the future and make a rough estimation of the future development trend of The U.S.-Iran relations and the situation in the Middle East.This thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the cause of Iran's nuclear issue.The second chapter mainly analyzes the Obama administration's policy on the Iranian nuclear issue.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the Trump administration's policy on the Iranian nuclear issue,the reasons for the trump administration's tough policy on the Iranian nuclear issue,the impact of the trump administration's withdrawal from the Iran nuclear agreement,and the reasons for the differences between the Obama administration and the trump administration's policy on the Iranian nuclear issue.The last chapter analyzes the U.S.policy on the Iranian nuclear issue.Through the study of this article,we can find that the Obama administration mainly took negotiating,pressing and signing the Iran nuclear agreement to achieve the balance of power in the Middle East and thus maintain the dominant position of the United States in the Middle East.The trump administration,on the other hand,is trying to contain Iran by withdrawing from the Iran nuclear agreement,forming an "anti-Iran alliance" with the United States' allies in the Middle East,and apply economic and diplomatic pressure to Iran.The deterioration of the U.S.-Iran relations makes the Iranian nuclear program face greater uncertainty,have a serious impact on nuclear non-proliferation system built by the US,and makes the Middle East situation into a bigger mess.
