Brexit is the hottest international topic at present,and it is also a political phenomenon that domestic and foreign academic circles are keen to study.Britain's special geographical location,humanistic history and political system have created the unique political culture of the British,so Brexit is largely influenced by these political concepts.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze the reasons for Brexit in the perspective of political culture.Political ideology and social-political psychology are two important parts of political culture.Political ideology belongs to the superstructure,which is a comprehensive ideology guiding and inspiring political behavior.As an old capitalist country,conservatism and liberalism are Britain's main political ideologies.The concept of parliamentary sovereignty and the principle of realism are important manifestations of British conservatism,while the economic view of classical liberalism and the politicization of neo-classical liberalism are the important aspects of British liberalism,which are the fundamental causes of Brexit.Social political psychology is manifested in the emotion,tradition,custom,prejudice,simple faith of handling political events.The social-political psychology with British characteristics mainly includes the island nation psychology,exceptionalism,Euroscepticism and populism.The existence of these concepts has led to the incompatible between Britain and the EU,indicating the end of the separation between Britain and the EU.Brexit is a political earthquake shaking the world.It intensifies all kinds of contradictions in Britain,hinders the process of European integration,and has a profound impact on international political relations and the world pattern.
