Research On Social Support For The Elderly Care Workers Group

Since the beginning of the new century,the problem of population aging has always been the focus of Chinese society.With the rapid growth of the elderly population in recent years,the proportion of the elderly population to the Chinese population has gradually increased.The whole society has recognized the solution to the problem of old-age care.Importance,an inevitable,gradual deepening of an aging society is coming quickly.The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to actively respond to the aging of the population,build a policy system for the elderly,filial piety,respect for the elderly and the social environment,promote the integration of medical care,and accelerate the development of the cause and industry.In solving this social problem,the institutional pension model is an important pension model for decomposing the burden of social pension in the future.Institutional pensions first require the establishment of old-age care institutions,but the ultimate pension service still depends on the elderly care workers,so the elderly care workers group plays an important role in the development of the elderly and industry.This study explores how to promote the development of the aged care workers group from the perspective of social policy and the theoretical framework of social support theory.This paper takes the elderly care workers in the Y-age care institution in Zhengzhou as the research object,and analyzes the social support status of the nursing staff in the old-age care institutions through participatory observation and semi-structured interviews.This study first explains the basic situation of the Y-age care institutions,the elderly and the elderly care workers,and introduces the main dilemmas faced by the current nursing care workers in the current development process,mainly reflecting low social prestige,poor salary and society.Poor security and lack of career development prospects.The main body of social support that can be used as a group of elderly care workers can be divided into three parts: government departments,organizations,and social groups.The three currently have many problems and deficiencies in the support of the old-age care workers.Conduct an analysis to explore the underlying reasons behind the lack of social support for the aged care workers.The study found that these reasons are not only for the care workers themselves,such as: the age and gender structure is irrational,the overall quality is low;there are also social support subjects,such as: government policy support is not in place,the regulatory mechanism is not perfect;social organizations in social security And there is a lack of management;social groups lack understanding and respect for old-age care workers.In the study of how to strengthen the social support research for the aged care workers group,it is mainly from the perspective of social policy that the government department should be the first subject and play the most important role.China has a tradition of “big government,small society” since ancient times,and the government plays a key leading role in the development and transformation of society.In the critical cause of life of the elderly,which involves hundreds of millions of Chinese people,China's government departments should be the first responsible body.In the face of the obstacles and problems faced by the cause of aging and industrial development,the government needs to play a strong command and leadership role.Therefore,in solving the problem of insufficient social support for the care workers in the old-age care institutions,this paper mainly proposes the corresponding aspects from the perspective of social policy of the government,from the training of talent team,financial support subsidies,supervision and management mechanisms,and social public opinion.Policy recommendations,hope to improve the plight of the elderly care workers in the lack of social support,promote the healthy development of the elderly care industry,and contribute to the development of China's aging industry and industry.
