China is a unified multi-ethnic country,so the exchanges among different ethnic groups are closely related to the national and social stability.Interracial marriage is not only an important indicator for insight into national relations, but also a true reflection of ethnic integration and cross-ethnic boundaries. Therefore, the study of interracial marriage is an important way to understand ethnic relations and regional social order. With two urban and rural communities, the Otog Front Banner Mandula Community and Aung Su Gacha,as field survey points and 36 intermarriage families between Mongolians and Hans as the object of research, this paper draws the conclusion that there are urban-rural differences and generational differences in intermarriage between Mongolians and Hans by combing the field survey data of the36 interracial marriage families and the questionnaire survey data of 141 Mongolian and Han members in the community.Furthermore, the factors affecting the intermarriage between Mongolians and Hans are analyzed using the interracial marriage theory. It is believed that the intermarriage between Mongolians and Hans is a marriage mode concluded under the influence of structural integration factors and cultural integration factors. In addition, personal factors are the positive factors to avoid cultural differences and promote the homogeneity of intermarriage couples between Mongolians and Hans, while the maintenance of ethnic boundaries is a factor limiting the intermarriage between Mongolians and Hans.At the same time, this paper also discusses the influence of intermarriage between Mongolians and Hans on the offspring. The ethnic identity selection of the offspring of intermarriage families between Mongolians and Hans is beneficial to the positive growth of the Mongolianpopulation. The ethnic identity of the offspring contributes to cultural integration and harmonious ethnic relations. The offspring's language and school selection plays a positive role in the inheritance of national culture and the improvement of social adaptability. However, the impact of intermarriage families between Mongolians and Hans on their offspring is not consistent, and the single national identity, national identification and language and school selection will undermine the positive effects of intermarriage between Mongolians and Hans to some extent.
