| In recent years,China’s urbanization process has been accelerating,and the rural young labor force is gradually flowing to the city,which leads to the emergence of the special group of rural left-behind children.Long-term lack of parental companionship and care leads to psychological imbalance and bad behavior among left-behind children.As a key period of life development,children’s mental health is particularly important.However,numerous studies have shown that there are serious problems of self-recognition,insufficient self-recognition,poor interpersonal relationships,inactive participation in collective activities,isolated personality,internal fear and so on.These have affected their healthy growth seriously.Centering on the above problems,this paper takes group work as the basic method to systematically study the improvement of rural left-behind children’s self-confidence.The paper is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the background of the topic,the purpose and significance of the research,the definition of concept and theoretical basis,research status at home and abroad,the objects,ideas,methods and innovation of the research.The second part is the introduction of the basic information of the research object and the design of the group work.It mainly expounds the situation of C village and the left-behind children,the recruitment and selection of the service object,the self-confidence of the left-behind children in the village,the feasibility analysis of the intervention of the group work and the specific group work plan.The third part is the specific practical process,mainly supported by Erikson’s eight-stage theory of human development,"I am in the mirror" theory and advantage perspective theory,running through the society work encouragement,listening,clarification,cross examination,self-disclosure,acceptance and other skills,carry out seven group activities,each activity around the group objectives,including warm-up game,theme game,sharing and summary,each part is carried out step by step and in turn to help the service object change the current situation of low self-confidence.The fourth part is the evaluation and reflection,in the evaluation process,the group members’ participation,the atmosphere of group activities,the communication and interaction ofmembers,and the change of group cohesion are taken as the process evaluation of the group.At the same time,the satisfaction of group members and the comparison of pre-measurement and post-measuremen are carried out to achieve the group’s development effectiveness assessment.The design of group activity links,the application of activity skills,the construction of service object support systems,the continuation and promotion of activity effects are discussed.The fifth part is to summarize the group work,and put forward personal suggestions based on the problems found in the practice process,to provide practical experience for the development of social work,but also to contribute to the development of youth social work in China. |
