An Ethnological Study On The Marriage Changes Of The Oroqen Nationality

Marriage is not only a necessary condition for the continuous development of society,but also an important part of ethnic culture.The study of marriage change has become one of the important research topics in the field of ethnology.This paper takes the Oroqen in Hunting Village,Guli Township as the research object,using the theories of cultural change and so on,discusses how the marriage of the Oroqen changes under the internal factors and the changing external environmental.After the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China,the marriage changed of the Oroqen in three ways:First,the intermarriage circle.The communication between different ethnic groups and the change of production and life style after settling down in the mountains promoted the expansion of intermarriage circle,which was manifested in the increase of intermarriage between ethnic groups and the increase of ethnic groups of intermarriage objects.Second,the process of marriage.After settling down the mountain,the marriage conclusion of the Oroqen still includes four links,matchmaker introduction,engagement,gifts and wedding ceremony,but the form,content or function is different from the traditional conclusion process.The third is divorce and remarriage.Divorce and remarriage,which were subject to many restrictions in the past,have become commonplace in contemporary Oroqen society.People are tolerant of this kind of behavior,and the parties also have more initiative.In the process of changing marriage in the Oroqen,on the one hand,we can see the positive adjustment and choice made by the Oroqen in order to adapt to the new social and cultural environment.On the other hand,we can see the effect of changes in the external environment,including social environment and natural environment.The Oroqen marriage involves many aspects such as the system culture,the economic interest,the idea transformation and so on,will be a topic which is worth our continuous attention.
