According to the subjects of work and performance appraisal method,the performance appraisal management evaluates the work performance during a certain period.Performance appraisal management in a scientific way is an important means for the local government to promote workers to accomplish the local development goals.In recent years,the performance appraisal management in China has been increasingly significant.The performance appraisal management now is the "direction mark" to judge the quality of the workers.his paper investigates the domestic and foreign research of performance appraisal.Based on interview of workers in advanced area and institution,this paper mainly illustrates preliminary preparation,evaluation process,application of results,feedback mechanism,result complaint and so on.It is concluded that the performance appraisal work in this area has the advantages of smooth operation,meticulous preparatory work,rigorous assessment process and reasonable application of the results.By using research methods of interview investigation and data analysis,this paper finds that the publicity in the early stage is not sufficient,the scientific and technological means in the assessment process are not adequate,the form richness of the result is not strong,the pertinence of the feedback mechanism content and the concrete form need to be innovated,and so on.Considering the local situation,workers ' needs,and others ' advanced practices,this paper summarizes the following measures.First,the use of performance appraisal of the general meeting in the preliminary preparatory can strengthen the publicity of the assessment work;second,the use of information technology can improve work efficiency in the assessment operation process;third,taking care of staff and workers' spiritual world can improve the assessment incentive mechanism in the application of assessment results.The fourth way is to enhance the pertinence of the feedback object and the diversity of feedback forms in the assessment feedback mechanism;the last way embodies the fairness of the assessment and ensures the integrity of the assessment work by checking the reasons for the complaint,limiting the content of the complaint and setting up the appellants.
