Case Work Intervention Research On Spiritual Support For The Empty-nest Elderly In Rural Areas

In recent years,with the continuous and in-depth promotion of poverty alleviation and Rural Revitalization Strategy,the economy and society in rural areas have been rapidly developed,the material living standards of the elderly in rural empty nests have been consolidated and improved,and the material needs have been further met,but the spiritual support needs of the elderly in rural empty nests have not been paid enough attention,on this basis,the spiritual and emotional problems are obvious It should be paid more attention to by the whole society.This study found that the problem of mental support of the service object is more prominent: there are psychological disorders such as loneliness,depression,inferiority and sensitivity;lack of emotional care in the family;imperfect support network and low social participation.Therefore,Wang was selected as the case service object to help the service object to obtain spiritual and emotional needs,In order to explore how social work can play a better role in rural empty nest elderly spiritual support and improve the quality of life of the elderly.The case intervention service in this study consists of four stages: providing emotional support for service objects;helping them to eliminate bad emotions;guiding them to gradually establish self-confidence;and promoting them to return to normal life.In this way,their spiritual support needs can be met and the case can be settled smoothly after the expected effect is achieved.In the process of service,adhere to the principle of value neutrality,pay attention to the use of respect,listening,acceptance,support and other skills,establish professional service relationships,stimulate the potential of service objects,and find ways to obtain spiritual needs.At the same time,under the guidance of social support theory,help service objects build support networks such as families,neighbors,peers,relatives and friends,and communities to respond to the spirit of service objects Emotional needs.After the case service,through the evaluation and test of the service effect,it is found that social work has a strong operability in intervening in the spiritual support of the empty nest elderly in rural areas and improving the quality of spiritual support for the elderly.In this study,the methods of in-depth interview,participation in observation,questionnaire and case work are mainly used to provide support for service objects from different perspectives and find solutions to problems together.Through thepractical exploration of this study,we can get some experience: first,we should do well in the social work of the elderly from the two perspectives of practice and theory,and test the level of social workers in the application of theory in practice,so as to promote social workers to strengthen learning;second,we should pay attention to the impact of social environment on the mental state of the elderly,and coordinate high-quality resources to create health and happiness for the elderly Third,we should be good at tapping the advantages of the elderly themselves and their surrounding resources,guiding the service objects to fully and correctly understand themselves,recognize their self-worth,and establish self-confidence.Finally,we should pay attention to the cultivation of the elderly's ability to face and solve problems independently,improve the elderly's social participation,psychological adjustment and spiritual self-supporting ability,and learn to meet their own spirit.
