With the rapid development of modern society,the problem of aging in our country is increasing day by day.One of the problems is that the proportion of the elderly with dementia is increasing,and the situation of the elderly with dementia is becoming more and more serious.In the current three pension models,compared with home-based pension and community-based pension,institutional pension with its professional and independent advantages is more mature in the operation mode,becoming the best choice for the vast majority of the mentally retarded elderly.However,there are often some problems in the process of elderly care for the mentally retarded in institutions.The quality of life of the mentally retarded in institutions is often difficult to guarantee due to the lack of necessary support network.In order to better understand the basic situation and life problems of the elderly with dementia in institutions,and then change the vulnerable situation of the elderly with dementia in institutions,this paper selects x elderly care institutions in Qingdao as the research position,and takes the social support network of the elderly with dementia in X institutions as the research entry point,under the professional guidance of social work,comprehensively applies various research theories and research methods to the x-machine The social support network of the mentally retarded elderly in the structure has carried out professional construction activities.At the beginning of the study,on the basis of being familiar with and mastering the relevant concepts and theories,this paper analyzes and sums up the basic situation and the current situation of social support network of the elderly with dementia in Qingdao x organization by qualitative and quantitative methods,and further expounds the importance and feasibility path of social work professional intervention by objectively describing the existing problems;in the middle and later stages of the study,the article combines On the basis of professional knowledge and theory,the social support network for the elderly with dementia in X organization is constructed.Through the practice method of group work,unique professional activities are designed and carried out for the elderly with incomplete dementia and the elderly with complete dementia in X organization.From the two aspects of formal support and informal support,the support forces and resources of the elderly with dementia are integrated,United and used to serve the elderly People have built up a full social support network,which has achieved thegoal of changing the vulnerable situation of the elderly with institutional dementia and improving the quality of life of the elderly with institutional dementia.It can't be ignored that in the process of creating a support network for the elderly with institutional dementia,the problems that affect the realization of the goal of building a support network are often caused by the problems of setting up the support parties themselves or the improper cooperation between them.At last,the research reflects and summarizes these problems,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.The innovation of this paper is to take the social support network of the elderly with institutional dementia as the starting point,build the formal relationship between the elderly with institutional dementia and professional workers,nurses,institutions and informal relationship with family members,friends,the elderly living together and special children through the practical activities of Social Work Specialty,and try to build the whole of the elderly with institutional dementia from multiple related roles Face to face social support network,to fill the previous research perspective and content of social support network for the elderly with institutional dementia.In addition,the practice under the guidance of social support and activity theory promotes the combination of social work specialty and institutional Dementia Elderly to a certain extent,provides material for the practice of social work,and also provides direction and thinking for the theoretical and practical research of vulnerable groups.
