A Study On Social Work Intervening In The Social Integration Of The Elderly Migrant

Researches on the social integration of the elderly in China often start from the macroeconomic,social,and cultural perspectives,while there are few studies that investigate the social integration of the elderly from the micro perspectives of individuals,families,and peer groups.Therefore,this research takes the elderly people who migrate with them in A community in Guide County.There are conflicts,the lack of non-core communication circle,and identity.Low recognition,absence of participation in social group affairs,low life satisfaction and other issues.With the researcher’s participation in the "Resident Social Integration" project as the background,the researcher selected 10 elders who moved with them as group members to carry out group work.Guided by their social integration needs and guided by social support theories,the researchers promoted the group members to establish and expand the society.This group has achieved remarkable results and is unique and feasible compared to other community activities and voluntary services.We need to do the following work well.Strengthen family support and reduce cultural barriers;tap the potential of community volunteers and play their supporting role,etc.
