After the Revolutions of 1989,the transformation of the countries of Middle and Eastern Europe got a certain goal.Their transformation processes were guided by the democratization of capitalism and the "return to Europe" or “to the West”,therefore has been deeply influenced by the EU.They mimic the west in terms of political system and social law,and integrate into the West in terms of economic and trade. Many CEE countries have successfully joined the European Union after some Pre-Accession struggle. After years of regional integration,EU regional policies have had a tremendous impact on the economic development and political transformation of CEE countries. On the other hand, the countries in the Middle and Eastern Europe began to view the EU in a more rational and objective way, therefore their European policies have become increasingly diversified. In the wake of the European integration crisis, the differences between CEE countries and the European Union on issues such as refugee quotas have gradually become apparent, and there has even been a tendency towards skepticism.Seeking sub-regional cooperation such as Visegrad Group within the EU border and forging new economic ties with countries outside Europe have become new strategic goals for CEE countries. The countries of central Europe, represented by the Czech Republic, should change their old European policy, view the EU regional policy more objectively and dialectically, and contribute to a more inclusive political and economic system of the EU.They can also expand the scope of cooperation in order to seek an opener and more stable future.
