Thailand political chaos has occurred many times since 2004,besides,the military group and democracy government have been in power in turn.Although a 2014 military coup made the chaotic society stable, there are constant protests against the government all over the democratic polity, and the political turmoil is still an intractable problem confusing Thailand. Therefore, what is the radical reason of the long-lasting social disorder? This paper will give an explanation from the perspective of the deteriorating relationship between city and village. The disequilibrium between Thailand city and village exists historically with a superiority in politics, economy and culture of city over the village, but the process of democracy caused by economy development has made the village the majority politically. In Thailand constitution, the majority rule turns the village by its large population to be the powerful group to govern, resulting in an unsolvable contradiction created by the enormous disparity both in society and economy between city and village. The government representing village compelled policies which benefit village while doing harms to the city, meanwhile, the city can't tolerate development in village that costs their profit. The contradiction from both sides has upgraded to political institution level, putting Thailand politics into a dilemma of chaos. This paper sees the contradiction as an interactive process and forms a sort of model or routine. It argues the deeply reason of Thailand disorder is the result of disparity and disbalance between city and village.Only if the problem is solved can conflicts in Thailand disappear and can the political stability come true.
