Objective:Using combined exercise(basketball and fancy rope skipping)as a means of intervention,to explore the influence of basketball and fancy rope skipping on children's attention quality and academic achievement after 6 weeks and 12 weeks,and explore the intermediary role of attention quality in this combined exercise and academic achievement,thus we can provide a reference for schools how to promote the improvement of children's attention quality and academic achievement.Methods:The students of three classes of grade five in a primary school in Yangzhou were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling.The students were divided into experimental group 1(intervention 6 weeks),experiment group 2(intervention 12 weeks),control group.The experimental group was treated with the combination of basketball and fancy rope skipping for 30 minutes three times a week,while the control group was given routine physical education.The attention quality of the subjects was measured with the "Adolescent attention Test" scale 1 week before the experiment,7 weeks after the experiment and after the intervention.The final grade of the previous semester shall be selected before the academic achievement,and the final grade of the semester shall be selected.The data of the experiment were analyzed by single factor variance,repeated measurement of variance analysis,and Wen Zhonglin's statistical method of mediating effects were used for the experimental data.Results:(1)The combination of basketball and fancy rope skipping at different duration had a significant effect on the overall level of attention quality of children(F(2,113)=9.653,P<0.01);There was significant difference in the effect of basketball and fancy rope skipping on children's attention distribution during different duration(F(2,113)=4.993,P<0.01),the effect of the improvement is as follows:Experimental 2 group>Experimental 1 group>Control group;There was significant difference in the effect of basketball and fancy rope skipping on the attention span of children with different duration(F(2,113)=12.088,P<0.01),the effect of the improvement is as follows:Experiment 2 group>Experiment 1 group>Control group;There was significant difference in the effect of basketball and fancy rope skipping on the stability of children's attention(F(2,113)=16.566,P<0.01),the effect of the improvement is as follows:Experimental group 2>Experimental 1 group>Control group;There was significant difference in the effect of basketball and fancy rope skipping combination exercise on children's attention metastasis(F(2,113)=4.678,P<0.05),the effect of the improvement is as follows:Experiment 2 group>Experiment 1 group>Control group.(2)There was no significant difference in the total score of children's academic achievements between basketball and fancy rope skipping at different duration(F(2,113)=0.891,P>0.05);There was significant difference in the Chinese score of children's academic achievements between basketball and fancy rope skipping at different duration(F(2,113)=3.778,P<0.05),the effect of the improvement is as follows:Experiment 2 group>Experiment 1 group>Control group;There was no significant difference in children's mathematics performance between basketball and pattern rope skipping at different duration(F(2,113)=0.052,P>0.05);There was no significant difference in the children's English scores between the different duration of basketball and pattern rope skipping(F(2,113)=0.092,P>0.05).(3)Note that the overall level of quality and its dimensions have mediating effects in the combination of basketball and fancy rope skipping.Conclusions:(1)The combination of basketball and rope skipping can have a positive effect on the children's attention quality,and the longer the duration,the better the effect,that is,the intervention effect of the 12-week group of basketball and fancy rope skipping is better than that of the 6-week group.(2)The combination of basketball and fancy rope skipping has significant influence on Chinese scores,which can promote the academic achievement of mathematics and English,but has no significant influence.(3)The combination of basketball and fancy rope skipping affects academic achievement by paying attention to quality.
