Nowadays,the scale and influence of sporting events have been continuously expanding.And sports events have been moving towards the trend of industrialization and marketization.The market-oriented operation of sports events is particularly important.Sports events are an important part of the sports industry,and marathon events are a relatively rapid part of the development of sports events in recent years.The social and economic benefits of the marathon events and the socio-economic development they have driven,make the marathon events marketable.Operation plays an increasingly important role.In order to achieve better economic and social benefits in the marathon event,it is crucial to analyze its market-oriented operation mode and propose effective solutions to the problems existing in the existing model.A successful marathon must be Society,event organizers and event participants multi-benefits benefit.Therefore,in-depth analysis of the market-oriented operation mode of marathon events,collation and analysis of the problems existing in its existing mode,and propose solutions to the problems,can optimize the market operation mode of marathon events,improve the influence of the venue.In order to achieve the purpose of promoting the development of marathon events in China,this article analyzes the market-oriented operation mode and development status of Chengdu Wenjiang International Half Marathon from 2014 to 2016 in order to optimize the market-oriented operation mode of Chengdu Wenjiang International Half Marathon,promote its healthy development,and expand Wenjiang.The influence of the district in Chengdu,the country and even the world will further promote the development of the Chengdu Marathon,which will promote the development of the Chengdu running sports and provide reasonable and effective support for the future Chengdu Wenjiang International Half Marathon and other provincial and municipal marathon events.In this paper,through literature and field inspection methods,I have consulted a large number of relevant literature,collected accurate and accurate race data,entered the Chengdu Wenjiang International Half Marathon,and conducted the following analysis of the market-oriented operation of Wenjiang Marathon: It is an analysis of the development history of the Wenjiang Marathon;the second is the analysis of the operation mode and marketing model of the Wenjiang Marathon;and the third is the analysis of the sponsorship of the Wenjiang Marathon and the spread of media.Through analysis,it was found that the “government-oriented and market-based operation” operation model of the competition is reasonable,but the management of market-oriented operation is still not perfect;the competition has achieved certain results in market development,but the market has developed the depth and breadth are still far from enough,which has affected the economic and social benefits of the competition.The competition has achieved certain results in marketing,but it should increase the intensity of publicity and promotion to continuously enrich the marketing strategy of the competition;The level and service level are constantly improving,but there are still some problems in the details;the start of the event brand of the Wenjiang Marathon,but also need to enrich the contents of the event brand,should integrate the existing resources in Wenjiang District,taking into account the future of Wenjiang District Focus on the direction of development,and then according to the actual situation in Wenjiang District,for the Wenjiang Marathon to develop a long-term market-oriented operation plan,promote the development of the event brand.In response to the existing problems,the following suggestions were made: Strengthen cooperation with Wenjiang District Government,and according to the actual situation in Wenjiang District,develop a long-term market-oriented operation plan for the Wenjiang Marathon,increase the development of market resources,and deepen the value of intangible assets of the event.,Develop derivative activities and related cultural and creative products for the Wenjiang Marathon,integrate event brands,increase linkages between derivative activities and peripheral products,establish good relationships with sponsor companies,fully upgrade events,create quality events,and develop branded events.In the gradual elimination of events' regional restrictions,let the Wenjiang Marathon race go further.
