| Modern novel reflects the vivid epochal characteristic and awareness,it not only a medium of our national culture and spirit but also a channel for students to know the social morality and the common lifestyle of a certain age.Especially high school student,they are in the critical stage to learn and develop their mind,it will do well in their ability of aesthetic appreciation,the development of key competencies and the cultivation of moral character by reading some qualified modern novels.However,when we reflect on the teaching of the modern novel in the high school,the function of aesthetic education is not that complete yet.Reception aesthetics emphasizes the interaction between the reader,author,and the text,and focusing on how the readers reconstruct the meaning of the text,which shares many similarities with the conception of the Chinese curriculum standard that advocating the muti-conversation between the student,teacher,and text while reading.This curriculum standard also highlights the subjectivity of student and pays attention to the personal interpretation and creative reading of the students.So,the attempt of applying the reception aesthetics to the reading teaching is ordinary recently.Meanwhile,these attempts were mostly put the reception aesthetics into a cursory reading teaching such as poetry,essay and novel,the research that exerting the particular theory on the modern novel teaching is merely seen.There is no doubt that the abundant theory research of reception aesthetics can bring up a brand new idea for the teaching of modern novel.This thesis is mainly focusing on the teaching process of modern novel in the high school,utilizing the concept of expecting view and response-inviting structure of the reception aesthetics to solve some problems in the teaching,in this way can we conclude the specific strategy to employ the reception aesthetics while teaching.The first part is chiefly about the sense of this research,introducing the relating research documents,and the track and the approach to finish the research.The second part is a summary of the theory of the reception aesthetics,uncovering its derivation and development.Moreover,we will intensify the primary theoretic point of expecting view and response-inviting structure.Entering the third chapter,we are about to discuss the feasibility of the application of the reception aesthetics under the conception of reading teaching in the high school Chinese curriculum standard,the inner mechanism of reading among high school students and the blank part of the modern novel in the high school’s textbooks.What’s more,this chapter aims to classify the significance of this application from several aspects such as achieving an open,democratic,interactive teaching idea,broadening the expecting view and incenting the creative potential of students and bring the aesthetics and educational function of the modern novel into action.It will take BLESSING and THE BORDER TOWN(excerpt edition)as the major research objects in chapter 4,based on the selecting and editing feature and some relevant teaching cases of high school’s textbook,to examining the current situation regarding the teaching of modern novel in the high school and analyzing the shortcomings within.Finally,by scrutinizing the application in the certain circumstances of teaching,this thesis will put up with the corresponding strategy to solve related problems from the preparation,the maximizing and the outside of class teaching.Although we can’t rely on the reception aesthetics to figure out the entire obstacle in the teaching of modern novel reading in the high school,still,the reasonable exercising of it could efficiently improve the situation today and accelerate the growth and develop of teaching in the long-term. |
