Private higher education has become an integral part of higher education in China,which has been an important growth point in the development of higher education.The administrative management of universities is the basis of all the other activities of private universities.The level of management and service plays an important role in the promotion of the teaching,scientific research and service work of private colleges or universities,which will directly affect the overall quality of the school and the level of education.However,the incentive mechanism of administrative staff is not imperfect in the private universities which resulted in the low enthusiasm and low efficiency in administrative personnel and then further affects sustainable development of school management and service.This research mainly selects X college as a case for thorough analysis.The current situation of incentive mechanism of administrative staff in X college is investigated through the questionnaire of X college administrators and individual and collective interview.with the relevant incentive mechanism theories at home and abroad,the paper illustrates the current problems in the private universities administrative personnel incentive mechanism and explains what is the incentive mechanism and puts forward principles and concrete measures to perfect the incentive mechanism of private universities admin istrative personnel in an effort to construct the administrative personnel incentive mechanism and its safeguard measures with the characteristics of private universities.
