With the rapid development of higher education cause and higher education system reform, there has been significant change in the content, function, position and effect of university administrative management. However, due to longterm reason of subjective and objective, the university management lacks accurate and scientific positioning, and the university ignores the research on the administrative management team incentive mechanism, which leads to that the university management team incentive mechanism is unsound and even screwy, and has become the important factor restricting the normal operation of the management effectiveness and management mechanism, and become the bottleneck of restricting the rapid development of university.This thesis investigates the incentive mechanisms of university management team according to the research approach of present situation—problem—strategy. First, through the survey of the papers about university administrative management team in this thesis, we elaborates the definitions of the incentive and incentive mechanism, and cards the content type incentive theory, procedural motivation theory, behavioral incentive theory and integrated incentive model, and sums up the advantages and disadvantages of various theories and models, and lays the theoretical foundation for the thesis. Secondly, starting from the incentive mechanism and combining the realistic situations of HQ University, we analyze the current situations of incentive contents, performance evaluation system and performance evaluation running program of university administrative management staff in the university incentive system, and find several problems, such as unsound and static incentive mechanism, monotonous incentive form, imperfect performance evaluation system, and defective university administration team building. According to various incentive theories, combining the study on various incentive models, we find that, in the long term, the awareness of university administrative staff building is weak, and the management system is not perfect, and the incentive contents of university administrative management team is monotonous, and the implement procedures are fixed, etc.. Finally, based on the previous analysis, we aim at establishing a scientific, rational and effective university management team incentives mechanism, analyze the incentive factors which affect the operation of incentive mechanism based on a comprehensive incentive model, reconstruct the incentive mechanism model of university administrative management staff, and clarify the principles of moderate, timeliness, fairness and the combination of material interests and spiritual encouragement in the incentive mechanism of university administrative management team, and propose the building strategies of establishing scientific, objective and effective management system, establishing full employment system, establishing a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system and strengthening rotation and exchange system.
