Natural object is the link of natural image,and the writing subjects create the artistic image by unique emotional activities.Natural image is entrusted the subjective feelings and frequently appears in high school Chinese textbooks.Learning natural image has a great effect on students’ understanding of the articles and the writers’ thoughts and feelings.Therefore,the interpretation of natural image is one of the most important factors for high school students to learn Chinese well.However,in Chinese class nowadays,the natural image did not arouse teachers’ attention.Sometimes teachers didn’t focus on the unique charm of the natural image,which causes students less interested in the natural image appearing in the articles.Even students could not understand the authors well.The thesis selects the texts written by Mr.Yuan Xingpei and edited by the People’s Education Press,and chooses the materials from 2007 experimental version of the New Curriculum Standard in high schools.Some sentences including natural image from the texts are the point-cut according to the status of natural image teaching in high school.Hence,the thesis has made an in-depth exploration of the issues related to the teaching natural images in Chinese language classes at high school.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this thesis is divided into four parts,of which the last three parts are the focus of this article.The specific content is listed as follows:The introduction mainly discusses the reasons for choosing the topic of this article,the history and status research on natural image,the theoretical basis for natural image teaching,the research contents and methods,and the research value.The first chapter is an overview of imagery.It systematically introduces the connotation of images,the types of images.What’s more,it also defines the concept of natural image.The second chapter is the exploration of natural image.The natural images are chosen from Chinese textbooks of People’s Education Press in 2007.The chosen images are “Wind”,“Flower”,“Snow” and “Moon” which appear frequently in the textbooks.They were used as examples for in-depth evaluation and exploration.The third part analyzes the status quo of natural image teaching in senior high school.Furthermore,it analyzes deeply the problems existed in natural image teaching.The problems include three aspects: the inclination of Chinese teaching to the college entrance examination,the imperfect teaching methods,and the lack of students’ interest in learning.In addition to this,this thesis also gives a reasonable overview ofproblems in natural image teaching.The author believes that the problem of natural image teaching are six aspects.There is no doubt that the pressure from college entrance exams is the main problem.What’s more,the monotonous Chinese classroom model,and the wide range of teacher teaching methods.The low effectiveness of Chinese language classes and the excessive emphasis on dignity in the class are the reasons.The worse result is students aren’t the main status in class any more.The last part is the enlightenment of natural image teaching in high school.There are three enlightenments.Firstly,teachers should deepen their understanding of natural images.Secondly,teachers ought to enhance the awareness of natural image teaching.The last enlightenment is to enrich the forms of natural image teaching.
