Critical thinking ability is the ability and accomplishment of judging and reasoning in order to believe what ideas or facts are believed and determine how to act accordingly.In middle school teaching,many subjects can cultivate the ability of critical thinking.The discipline of history because of the rich material the knowledge,has the advantage richly endowed by nature to develop critical thinking ability of students in the 2017 edition of the "ordinary high school history curriculum standard" put forward the goal of five core literacy and history subject,put forward higher requirements,including the concept of space-time history and historical interpretation of empirical material the students' critical thinking ability.The cultivation of critical thinking ability in middle school history teaching is significant for students,improving students' learning ability,cultivating students' innovative ability,improving students' discriminating ability,and improving their healthy personality.In addition to the introduction and conclusion part,this paper discusses the cultivation of critical thinking ability in the history teaching of middle school from four aspects.The introduction part discusses the reasons for the topic,the research status,research ideas and content,research methods and so on.The first chapter is the definition of related concepts.This chapter mainly defines the concept of historical thinking,historical thinking ability,critical thinking ability and so on.The second chapter is the significance of the cultivation of critical thinking ability in the history teaching of middle school.It is mainly discussed from four aspects: improving students' learning ability,cultivating students' innovative ability,improving students' discriminating ability,and cultivating students' sound personality.The third chapter is the way and method of cultivating the thinking ability in the history teaching of middle school.Mainly from consolidating the basic knowledge,optimizing the design of questions,"mutual recognition of literature and history",effective classroom discussion and multiple evaluation of historical figures.The fourth chapter is the problem that should be paid attention to in the cultivation of critical thinking ability in the history teaching of middle school.Mainly from the teachers should have certain critical thinking ability,the goal of clear training,rational view of the three aspects of presupposition and generation are discussed.
