Research On Methods To Improve The Extracurricular Reading Ability Of Children Of Migrant Workers

With the rapid development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization in Licang District of Qingdao,the number of migrant workers in Licang district is increasing year by year.The problem of children education following them has become the focus of every school's educational quality improvement.Extracurricular reading plays an important role in improving students' language quality and comprehensive ability.It is also an important way to improve the quality of school education.In the compulsory education Chinese curriculum standard(2011Edition),we should pay attention to cultivating students' extensive reading interest,expanding reading area,increasing reading volume and improving reading taste.And the children of migrant workers,their reading level is lower than the local school age children in Licang,reading ability is stagnant,the situation is worth paying attention to.The children of migrant workers in Qingdao Xiangtan Road Primary School as the research object,understand their actual situation in extracurricular reading,analysis hinder their extracurricular reading ability development of the exact reason from the students themselves,families,schools,to provide effective strategies to enhance the genuineness of migrant workers children's extracurricular reading ability.A questionnaire survey was conducted among the children of migrant workers from grade three to five in Xiangtan Road Primary School in Qingdao province.Interviews and interviews were conducted among parents and some first-line Chinese teachers.Through investigation and interview,it is not difficult to find the following problems of migrant workers' children's extracurricular reading: first,parents' education level is low,and they don't attach importance to reading education.Second,the economic level is low and the reading materials are scarce.Third,the reading interest is low,and the good reading habits are not formed.Finally,the basic knowledge is weak and the amount of literacy is limited.In order to better improve the extracurricular reading ability of migrant workers' children,cultivate their interest in reading and improve their language literacy,the following strategies are studied.To set up parents and children's reading activities,to set up class book angle and to carry out interchangeable reading activities.From the student's own development,build a platform for self display,carry out a series of reading results exchange report,share the experience and harvest of reading;From the aspect of teachers,encourage three generations of teachers actively talk about reading,reading experience,shared reading achievement.
