Math skills are more important in elementary school mathematics content,these basic skills not only play an important role in children's life,is the cornerstone of individual mathematics learning career,compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2011)for this part of the content of teaching put forward higher requirements.However,there are many problems in the practical teaching of mathematics skills in primary school: repeated mistakes by students,repeated correction of teachers and low teaching efficiency.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the teaching and learning of elementary school mathematics skills,find a breakthrough and break the current dilemma.The first chapter mainly explains the background and significance of the topic.A large number of literatures,the writer discovers that the scholars at home and abroad for the math skills has established a complete theoretical system,including the following aspects: understanding of math skills,math skills including content,and the classification of mathematical skills and behavior index of the math skills,etc.Based on the definition of these skills,and considering the scope of "primary school",this paper determines the content range of experimental research: operation,drawing and reasoning.And in the formation of "mathematical skills and training strategy" proposition,a few scholars mentioned the promoting effect of language skills in mathematics learning,research is not thorough and,on its feasibility,effectiveness without argument.This is the background and significance of this thesis.So what is the mechanism for language expression to promote the learning of mathematical skills?
