Since 1986,China began to carry out the activities of popularize law.The activities have an extensive and profound influence on different types of education.The law-related education in secondary vocational schools is an important part of the socialism rule of law education in China,which is also an indispensable part of their daily study.In recent years,there are numerous cases happening in secondary vocational schools,such as campus violence,minor offender,and students are deceived into thinking others.These cases let us realize the importance of the law-related education and the urgency to improve the effectiveness of the curriculum of the law-related education for secondary vocational school students.On the basis of inheriting predecessors’ research results and in view of the theme of the effectiveness of the curriculum of the law-related education,first,the relevant concepts involved in the study of the effectiveness of the law-related education curriculum are expounded.Four core concepts are concretely summed up:rule of law,law-related education,curriculum,effectiveness.Second,the study of the effectiveness of the law-related education curriculum is based on Tyler’s principle and the model of the implementation of Rogan’s Curriculum,and one sanitary school in Xi’an is taken as the research example.Finally,through the questionnaire survey of the students and the arrangement of the interview results of the teachers,the author summed up the following problems about improving actual effect of the course of the law-related education in secondary vocational schools:First,the overall level of the effectiveness of the curriculum in the law-related education in secondary vocational schools is high,but there is a group difference.There will be marked differences in the evaluation of the rule of law education of teachers,the rule of law school education curriculum system of law education curriculum and the learning effect of the law-related education of students with different gender,grade,professional,age and scores in senior high school entrance examination.Second,the curriculum system of the law-related education in the school is imperfect.It is manifested in two aspects:the teaching content is lagging,unreasonable and the form of teaching is single.Third,students’ learning effect is not good on the course of the law-related education.The two aspects are mainly focused on the students’ poor quality of the rule of law and the incorrect attitude of law-related education.Fourth,the level of teachers in the course of the law-related education is uneven.On the overall collation,the number of teachers in secondary vocational schools is insufficient.From the perspective of specific disciplines,the professionalism of teachers in the rule of law education curriculum is not enough.Fifth,teachers’ teaching method are not very flexible.The main reason is that teachers are still based on traditional instillation teaching,and lack of innovative consciousness in teaching methods.The reasons for the problem are summed up by the arrangement of questionnaires and interviews as follows.First,the curriculum of the law-related education lacks scientificity.Second,students’ own reasons influence the learning effect of the course of the law-related education.Third,the development of teachers’ team on the course of the law-related education has some problems.Finally,it is not obvious that school plays the main position of the law-related education.Combining the problems and reasons,four suggestions are put forward to improve the effectiveness of the course of the law-related education in secondary vocational schools.First,establishing a scientific and perfect curriculum system for the law-related education.Specifically,we should enrich and improve the content of rule of law education,take various forms of rule of law education,and set up targeted and balanced rule of law education courses.Second,improving the professional accomplishment of the teaching staff of the law-related education.We should carry out it mainly from the three aspects:improving the professionalism of the teachers,adjusting the teaching methods of teachers and stimulating the teachers’ enthusiasm for the teaching of the law-related education.Third,optimizing the work of the law-related education in school,we should pay attention to the creation of the culture of the rule of law education in the school and perfect the evaluation and feedback mechanism of the course of the law-related education.Finally,playing the active role of family and society in the course of law-related education.First of all,it is necessary to provide good family law-related education,and secondly to build a good environment for the law-related education in society.
