Teachers in secondary vocational schools are the key to improving the educational level and quality of those schools,while good professional concept and teachers' ethics is the internal motives of teachers' professional development and also the soul and core of teachers' professional qualities.At present,professional concept and teachers' ethics standard is increasingly noticed by national policies and getting more social concerns.In 2013,the Ministry of Education issued the Professional Standards for Secondary Vocational School Teachers(trial implementation),which provided the fundamental basis for the development of secondary vocational teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics.Therefore,the study of secondary vocational teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics can enrich the theoretical system and provide theoretical guidance for secondary vocational teachers.The study also helps to find out the critical factors that affect teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics and improving professional qualities of them to making teachers in secondary vocational schools much more professional.The entry point of this study is the status quo of secondary vocational teachers'professional concept and teachers' ethics by the logic of combing both theory and practice,macro and micro,and qualitative and quantitative.Under the guidance theories of moral internalization,moral leadership and implicit learning,the study adopts methods like literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and statistical analysis in it.The questionnaire surveys were conducted on teachers from secondary vocational schools across the country while 10 teachers from 3 schools were interviewed for the study.And the study focus on the status quo,its problems,the causes of problems development countermeasures,etc.First of all,through questionnaire survey,interview,and statistical analysis,while the feedback of "Questionnaire on The Status Quo of Secondary Vocational Teachers'Professional Concept and Teachers' Ethics(Teacker Questionnaire and Student Questionnaire),are also considered,this research is conducted on teachers'occupational understanding,education teaching attitude and behavior,attitude and behavior towards students,personal cultivation and behavior,etc.The research shows that,in one aspect,there is a significant difference of teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics when years of teaching,location of school,major-matching are different.And there is a highly significant difference in teachers'ages and professional titles.In another aspect,teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics in secondary vocational schools differs greatly with the teaching groups,and at the same time,teachers' occupational understanding,education teaching attitude and behavior,attitude and behavior towards students,personal cultivation and behavior are all need to be improved.Secondly,the author offers a comprehensive consideration on the causes of problems above.One reason is the social culture that pay more attention on academic research than technique learning.The moral abnormality caused by social transformation affects teachers' professional ideas and moral standards and people have a negative stereotype on vocational and technical education.Secondly,it is the teachers'management system in secondary vocational schools that hinders the improvement of teachers' professional ideas and moral standards.The educational mechanism,evaluation and supervision mechanism,reward and punishment mechanism are all incomplete.Thirdly,the self-development motive force of teachers in secondary vocational schools is too weak.The occupational awareness and self-accomplishment of teachers are poor.Teachers are under great pressure physically and psychologically while the relationship between teachers and students is also not very optimistic.Finally,the study goes on the countermeasures of improving teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics.The first one is to create a better atmosphere,improve social ethos and cultivate a harmonious campus culture.The second is to establish the consciousness and promote ability of self-development,and enhance professional identity.So teachers should deepen the awareness of professional concept and teachers'ethics inside their hearts and practice them outside.Then teachers will have a high demand of themselves to strength their professional concept and moral standards.The third one is establishing a long-term mechanism which including a scientific and efficient leadership management mechanism,a systematic and comprehensive education and training mechanism,a coordinating and democratic evaluation and control mechanism,a strict and orderly supervision and control mechanism,and a fair and just rewards and punishments mechanism.All in all,secondary vocational teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics is the internal motives and guiding force of teachers' professional development,which affects the overall quality of teachers in secondary vocational schools and the development of vocational and technique education in China.Based on the Professional Standards for Secondary Vocational School Teachers(trial implementation),this study has a systematically analyzation on the theoretical basis,status quo,problems,causes,and strategies of the development of secondary vocational teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics.Of course,the development of teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics is a systematic project,and it is a long way to go.As a large number of research objects involved who are widely distributed in region,so the survey data is limited.Besides,the author does not have adequate research capabilities,so the research on the problems and causes is not deep and detailed enough,and it has not been able to actually conduct research on the strategies of promoting secondary vocational teachers' professional concept and teachers' ethics.These questions can onlybe solved in follow-up studies.
