Developing students' mathematical modeling literacy is an important topic in current mathematics education practice,and occupies a pivotal position in junior high school mathematics teaching.The ability to solve the problem of mathematical problems is an important embodiment of the quality of mathematical modeling,and has been paid more and more attention.In the middle of the examination of mathematics,the proportion of the application questions is becoming more and more large,but the students' accomplishment in solving mathematical problems is not satisfactory.How to effectively improve junior middle school students' math problem solving ability is a realistic topic that mathematics teaching practice urgently needs to solve.Against this background,it is of practical significance to explore the role of graph method in solving mathematical problems.The mathematical graph method refers to the analysis of the object and the relative quantity of the subject,or the form,the mathematical image,the line map,the block diagram,the schematic diagram,the ven map,the flow chart,the tree pattern,the thinking map,the electronic map and to solve the problem.This paper tries to analyze the students' ability to solve mathematical problems by using the method of literature research,questionnaire,experiment and quantitative analysis.The analysis of the results of the questionnaire before and after the experiment shows that the students' attitude to mathematics learning,more than 18% students' interest in mathematical application,and the autonomy of nearly 20% students in mathematics application problems have been improved after the teaching of the chart,and the weak points in the strategies and skills of the math problems are known to the students.In what way will the improvement be further improved.The results of the experiment show that the test results of the experimental group are68.03 + 12.37 points from the test before the experiment,and the results are raised to 84.76 +8.48 points after the experiment.The average score of the test group is significantly higher than that of the control group(traditional teaching)of the students(5.46 points).This study found that:(1)graphics teaching can improve students' initiative in learning mathematics and enhance students' interest in application problems.(2)graphics teaching can cultivate students' ideas of problem solving and mathematical chart solving habits.(3)Chart teaching can effectively improve junior high school students' math problem solving level.(4)chart teaching can promote the development of students' problem-solving ability and autonomous learning ability.According to the results of this study,the author puts forward the following suggestions to the teaching of mathematics applied questions in junior middle school:(1)teachers should be able to master the teaching method of chart method skillfully;(2)teachers should constantly strengthen and infiltrate the chart method in the teaching of applied questions;(3)teachers should pay attention to the basic knowledge of mathematics in the teaching of chart method.Imparting,improving the students' ability to examine the questions and the cultivation of students' cognitive thinking;(4)teachers should constantly strengthen the idea of chart method to improve the students' ability to solve problems.
