| With social development, mathematics has reached into aspects of science, technology production and life, and thus it has wide applicability. The mathematics teaching aims at not only telling students the knowledge, but also cultivating students’mathematics application ability and realization. As a result, they can use mathematics theory and thinking method to solve practical problems in study and life.In our present educational reform, the mathematics teaching pays much attention on application ability. Our students have weakness in mathematics application, which includes deficiency in applicable values, applicable realization and applicable ability. Therefore, it has become an important research area of strengthening application teaching, raising students’ mathematics application view, forming application realization, improving application ability and teaching students to solve practical problems with mathematics thinking method.Depending on mathematic curriculum in compulsory education, mathematics textbook published by People’s Education Press and questionnaire from teachers and students, the paper analyzes the mathematics application situation of students in junior middle school in our country. Combining with teaching practice and characteristics of new textbook, the paper brings forward concrete teaching strategy to cultivate students’application view, including transforming method, putting emphasis on mathematics application, cultivating correct application view, and raising students’application ability based on classroom teaching and extracurricular practice. |
