Student engagement reflects the students' performance in the cognitive,emotional,and behavioral activities.It is an indicator of the quality of the student's learning.However,in the maths class,there is a large number of "non-participation"phenomenon.Many students have a high level of engagement on the surface but their learning results are not satisfactory.Therefore,it is necessary to study the relationship between student engagement and their learning results.The research is to establish a scale to investigate the engagement of the first grade students;to prepare a test paper for function parity,and to analyze the relevance of students' engagement in each variable and test scores.The main conclusions of this study:1.The engagement in mathematics classes is good,but the development in all aspects is uneven,the level of behavioral engagement is highest,and the level of cognitive engagement needs to be improved.Boys are more involved in mathematics than girls,and can get more fun.The experimental class is less dependent on teachers than regular classes,and has higher accomplishment and lower boredom.2.In the three dimensions of student engagement,the relationship between behavioral engagement and psychological input is relatively alienated.Students who perform well in mathematics classes may not necessarily have positive emotional experiences,and may even lack strategies;cognitive engagement and emotional engagement There is close contact.3.There is a significant correlation between student engagement and school test scores.Only the behavioral engagement is significantly related to school test scores.4.There was a significant correlation between student engagement and cognitive test scores,and there was a significant correlation between behavioral engagement,memory level,understanding level,and application level.There was a significant correlation between cognitive engagement and understanding levels.Emotional engagement and application level and creative level Greater impact.The above conclusions show that behavior engagement can not promote the development of students' cognitive level.Only by taking full engagement of cognitive engagement and positive emotional experience can the development of higher-level cognitive level be promoted.The above conclusions show that pure behavior engagement can not promote the development of students' cognitive.Only by taking full participation of deep-level cognitive engagement and positive emotional experience can the students' higher level of cognitive improvement be promoted.In light of the above analysis,three teaching suggestions are proposed:(1)Instruct students to prepare for effective pre-classroom preparation,(2)Create a democratic and equal classroom atmosphere,and(3)Drive problems to show the process of knowledge formation.
